Virtual Private Network (VPN)
Virtual Private Network
(VPN) uses a public telecommunication infrastructure (i.e. the Internet) to
allow remote offices and individual users to gain secure access to the
organization’s network. VPNs allow users
to connect from anywhere and work virtually as if they were in the office. In addition, connecting branch offices to
headquarters do not require expensive leased lines. Most firewalls today have the ability to
configure VPNs. Krantz will meet with
you and determine the most cost effective and productive way to utilize VPNs to
enhance user productivity and, where applicable, use VPNs to connect remote
offices.
