Network Admission Control (NAC)
Organizations are constantly
struggling with who should come onto their networks, how to enforce protection
standards (i.e. antivirus, anti-spyware, patch level, etc.), and how to
implement simple policies for controlling where users go once they’re admitted
onto the network. Network Admission
Control (NAC) solves this problem. NAC
integrates with your current user authentication technologies (i.e. Radius,
A/D, VPN, Wireless, etc.), and uses posture assessment to evaluate system
security based on the applications and system settings. These might include Windows registry
settings, existence of files, services running and/or presence of security
agents (anti-virus, personal firewall, HIPS, etc.). Krantz will work with your team to design a
NAC solution that meets your organization’s security needs while minimizing the
impact to user productivity.
